The Bug:
Decorations can generate on top of mossy cobblestone within old growth pine and spruce taiga biomes.
Just for clarification reasons, decoration blocks are blocks such as grass, ferns, brown mushrooms, etc...
Here is an example:

Generate a world with the seed provided above and teleport to the given coordinates.
Look closely at the said decoration.
Take note as to whether or not decorations can generate on top of mossy cobblestone within old growth pine and spruce taiga biomes.
Observed Behavior:
Decorations can generate on top of mossy cobblestone.
Expected Behavior:
Decorations would not be able to generate on top of mossy cobblestone.

I agree that this is an issue that needs to be fixed, but I quite like it. It makes the moss look overgrown and is sprouting life. But of course this needs to be fixed.
This also affects other decorations such as grass. As an extra note, this behavior is present in 1.17.1 as well and isn't exclusive to the 1.18 snapshots.
