My specs are: i9-10900k, RTX 2070 SUPER, 32 GB RAM.
Can confirm. My FPS went from around 800 to 120. With Vulkan in 26.2 Snapshot 1, it is even worse and I get 60 FPS, while it is still 120 with OpenGL.
I found an instance in 26.1 Snapshot 11 where a tree’s leaves got cut off.

The first sentence of this report is actually the underlying issue. Just execute
/datapack disable vanillaand rejoin the world. This spams the logs with errors and prompts you to enable Safe Mode. It simply shouldn’t be possible to disable the Vanilla datapack.
Less severe in 26.1 Snapshot 11.
In some cases you might be launched 30 blocks or more up into the air. I think it has to do with the ghast’s height in relation to you.
The player also flies up into the air when dismounting.
This can also be reproduced with saddled striders and warped fungus on a stick.
The flying underwater is not what I reported here. I outlined in this report how the durability is decreased while not flying, but sinking/swimming/floating.
Can confirm.
Seems to generally happen with multiple layers of translucent blocks.
All graphics modes are affected.
Fixed in 25w09a.
Having the same issue on Fedora KDE Plasma using Wayland.
