When I crouch it isn't activating the shield.
I've played Minecraft Java Edition along with many other editions before, and the shield has always activated when I crouch. But for a while it hasn't been activating when I crouch. The shift key is set for crouch/sneak, so I don't know why it's not working.

I believe shields only activate when crouching in some of the experimental combat snapshots, not in vanilla Minecraft.
