The native update for the launcher keeps crashing

I got to boot up the Minecraft Launcher(bear in mind, I'm using an iMac). Then, the native updater opens and updates the launcher, only to crash a second later with an error label. I haven't been able to pull up the launcher in a week. I would post a picture, but the iMac just blocks the error after a while.

No. I can't open the launcher period. Only the native updater for a second.

I might have to get back to you on that. After a while, the error stops showing up. I don't know why but next time I'll take a screenshot.

Are you using macOS Monterey? What you described sounds like MCL-19830.
