[MC-240908] Minecraft launcher cannot connect to Microsoft login page

I cannot log into my minecraft game on my Mac, as the launcher will not connect to Microsoft log in page. I am click "Microsoft Login" and continuously get an error that simply says "something went wrong in the log in process".

I have uninstalled and re-installed the program multiple times. I am logged into Microsoft account online at the samet ime.
