I purchased java minecraft today. downloaded the installer. tried to run it and i got a ox89235172 error saying it can not install. ive tried various fixes i found online but none have worked. im hoping you ladies and gentleman can help get me installed and playing

its no longer giving me the error message but now it loads up the graphic with the mobs and characters on it. the bar below has not moved in over an hour. i did restart my pc before i tried the install. im glad the first problem is over. im hoping this will get resolved just as fast.
