Soulsand doesn't get affected by ambient occlusion (Smooth Lighting)

Smooth lighting, at some point after release 1.13, stopped working on soulsand. I only now just noticed it while flying around in 1.18. I went back and found that after 1.13, the issue was there.

 

Below are some comparisons from 1.13, and 1.18 with the smooth lighting option turned on and off.

I believe that this is a duplicate of MC-139621 although I could be wrong.

I don't believe so as that posts labels the issue in 1.13, while this bug here does not. Technically, this is a full block, and should have its lighting affected the same, but the collision is like, a pixel lower or something. But anyway, I was showing that this wasn't an issue in 1.13, so I do believe that this isn't a duplicate of something else.

While MC-139621 also happens in earlier versions, the classification of soul sand as a non-full block changed in later versions iirc. We're tracking this as MC-139621, even if soul sand is a full block in appearance.

Update: Soul sand is now tracked in MC-177321 and will be fixed next snapshot
