When my laptop is charging, Minecraft runs with max FPS
But when I disconnect it from the charger, I get Input lag, and the game lags too
I even have it at the fastest settings, but it still lags
It might me my battery, but I'm not sure

It might be something to do with your power settings, i know that on Windows7 there is an automatic change in behavior when a laptop is plugged and when it is not. This causes the battery to last longer at the sacrificial of your PC's performance. 🙂
