What I expected to happen was...:
It would say "Outdated Server! I'm still on 1.8 to 1.17!
What actually happened was...:
It said "Outdated Server! Im still on {0}"
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Minecraft on 1.18 and go to Multiplayer
2. Go to "Direct Connect" and type "bedwarspractice.club"
3. It will say the "{0}" bug

Here's the error I get when attempting to connect to a vanilla 1.17 server. I'm not sure what you have to do to get the "Outdated Server!" message that is mentioned.

However, this issue is Invalid.
Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.
Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.

bedwarspractice.clubseems to be a non-vanilla server. Can you reproduce the bug using the vanilla server software?
