[MC-244268] No HUD

I originally opened a world in experimental mode and when I did; there was no HUD/arms. I only saw the world in front of me. I tried switching to a world that wasn't experimental and nothing changed. Nothing else was wrong besides that!

Did you accidentally press F1, which toggles the display of the HUD (on/off)?

Java Edition does not have an experimental mode. Are you playing Windows 10 Edition (Bedrock) or are you playing Java Edition 1.18.1 Pre-release?
