[MC-24472] It wont let me Get the new launcher

What I expected to happen was...:
Let me play the new update

What actually happened was...:
had a crash report

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put a step by step guide on how to trigger the bug here
2 open the browser
3. click play after the load bar finishes crash report

Please follow the instructions on the screen: "Click 'Report to Mojang' and copy paste the information from below into the issue"
Please attach crash reports in the future to tickets about a crash.
