I installed new minecraft from microsoft store. When i try to install fabric and forge I cant install

It would be great if you could add some information on how it can't be installed

mojang has a lot of these requests that are not revelant
the person is probably using bedrock edition or just doing something wrong, this is not an issue from mojangs side

I can confirm that this happens, but it's not a bug with the launcher. What's happening is that the mod installers are checking for the files the older launcher creates, but since the MS Store launcher creates its own versions of these files with different names, it won't find them.

Besides, as stated above, this isn't the place for reports related to mods.
