Bug: Woodland Mansions and Ocean Monuments generate on wrong biomes when loaded in previous versions with cartography villager maps.
How to replicate:
-Go to any 1.14+ Version
-Trade with a Cartographer Villager for the Woodland Mansion and Ocean Monument maps (Do not load the chunks of the maps)
-Load world into 1.18/1.18.1
-Follow the maps to the spot where the structures are
What I think happened: In pre-1.18 the game located a Mansion/Monument, but did not load the chunk. Once the world switched to 1.18, the game knew that there should be a structure there, and at what coordinates, but it's not in the same biome.

The duplicate issue posted isn't the same situation as this one. MC-241698 is about actual chunk blending bugs, while this is due to cartographer maps.
(This is a pretty insignificant bug in the great scheme of things, but it makes for easier guardian farms)
It is the same issue. The map is pointing you to a chunk that should generate that structure, so the game has to generate said structure in that chunk. When you load it in 1.18.1, the terrain is different but the structure is generated regardless.

That ticket has already been resolved as Won't Fix, which means this is considered a bug but won't be fixed. The description of that ticket or the comments might explain the rationale. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.
