First, this bug is in 1.8.9 and not 1.18, it just won’t let me select that as an option. So basically all of the sudden the screen goes black and I can’t see anything except for the ui/chat/hotbar. It also says opengl error 1286 in chat it just started randomly doing this. I’m using lunar client and don’t tell me to stop using lunar because It’s so much better than normal mc launcher and comes with stuff like keystrokes optifine cps count and that stuff. And don’t tell me to use 1.18 because I play single player on bedrock edition but on Java I only play hypixel and I hate 1.16 pvp so I use 1.8. I have provided a picture of normal and with the glitch. Fix this now I hate this.

That’s stupid. You guys should understand about your own game that the major demographic of the competitive hypixel pvp community uses the 1.8 version and are very upset when they have an issue with it and aren’t able to get it fixed. I specifically asked not to say to use the latest version. I mean this in the kindest way possible. Have a great day. Thanks for understanding.
Sorry about this – older versions are not supported after a newer one is released. Additionally, modified versions, such as Lunar Client, are not developed by Mojang Studios; therefore, we're unable to fix issues experienced in it. You may be able to ask about this issue on the Community Support Discord server, as they may be able to direct you to somewhere where you could get support regarding the issue. 🙂
Gamma value is going completely invalid, If you have fullbright in the client turn it on, as it sets the gamma value to the highest as it can be rendering stable. as to 16000%
(This also can be a problem with your resource pack or some shaders.)
