You did not even press save & use on the java edition / UWP (trash) launcher skin section.
This is probably not a issue, or you pressed cancel and didnt save & use it.
Once pressed save & use or just hover over your skin, and press equip.
Gamma value is going completely invalid, If you have fullbright in the client turn it on, as it sets the gamma value to the highest as it can be rendering stable. as to 16000%
(This also can be a problem with your resource pack or some shaders.)

This is not a bug, there is name difference from it being "Crying" in the first word and "Obsidian" as the last word.
And this is because Mojang doesn't want obsidian appearing when searching "Crying"

This is not a bug, Notch left mojang so the joke "Herobrine has been removed" has not been seen.

Herobrine will not be, and never be in 1.18.1 or later versions, as ghost entities are not a thing now.
This affects, Vanilla, Optifine, Fabric (Modded with Sodium) and Forge mod loader vanilla and optifine forge, and sodium for forge.
Somewhat of a temporary fix:
Restarting your PC then opening it once again should work.
Somewhat of a permanent fix:
Using the old launcher does not have this issue.
How this is probably happening (i think so):
The GPU Host is trying to load the Launcher, and such so the launcher doesn't want to startup where it keeps crashing. Then, the network service will crash because it doesn't know if it's started or on loading. So It try's to fix the crashes then it shows the default accent for the launcher and just completely go blank and not work until you restart your computer. | This happened to me while i am browsing on Firefox, then going up to start the launcher.
Ah okay, i was just confused why it's now bedrock.
It's modded, you probably put a mod that changes the background into 1.17. There is no proof of any resource packs installed or being used, so this is invalid.
And please update to JAVA_17 to run the game normally.
