The bug:
Jumping on certain non-full blocks like Carpets and Trapdoors with Pointed Dripstone underneath them causes damage to the player.
All blocks that cause this:
Trapdoors (wooden & iron)
Carpets (wool & moss)
Brewing Stand (when on lower part)
How to reproduce:
Place Pointed Dripstone facing up.
Place one of the listed blocks on top of the Pointed Dripstone.
Go into survival/adventure mode and jump on top of the block you placed.
→ ❌ You still take damage.
Expected Behavior
The barrier the block provides between the player and the Pointed Dripstone should prevent the player from getting hurt.

It'd be fun to keep this as a feature, not sure why this shouldn't be keeped.
Can confirm in 1.19.

Pointed dripstone hurting entities through solid objects is an intended feature? I can understand snow layers, rails, and maybe carpets, but trapdoors too? It just looks weird, blocks don't even sit directly on the dripstone, they float a noticeable distance above it.
