When the Warden is attacked by a mob, it skips the roaring animation and immediately retaliates, which is I'm pretty sure is intended behavior, as the Warden is defending itself instead of trying to look threatening.
However, when ganged up on by multiple mobs, it will keep roaring over and over at all of the mobs before going in to strike, sometimes even before its first target is dead. This creates a situation where the Warden takes way more damage than it would need to when in a fight against multiple entities.
This may even apply to players, though I'm unable to test it. If it does, this could be a potential cheese option
