Broken generation

World generation in 1.18 is completely broken. On the screenshot you can see a one-biome world, that should have been a deep ocean, but instead there are plains and islands. Also, when you try to create a only forest world, it often creates huge oceans. It's impossible for builders to play on this version.

This isn't a bug: in 1.18, biomes do not affect terrain generation, i.e. the shape of the landscape, including the presence of water. From the 21w37a blog post:

The terrain shape and elevation varies dramatically, independently from biomes. For example, forests and deserts could form up on a hill without needing a special biome just for that

For more information on 1.18 worldgen, check Henrik Kniberg's YouTube video.

i know, but that still means that you can't create normal worlds. even if it's not a bug, now there is no way to customize generation as it was in previous versions, and i think that it should be fixed. like, right now the function of creation a one-biome worlds is useless, becouse it doesn't work properly
