My Axolotls keep despawning

Expected Reason: They should be still there

Not Expected Reason: They should not be despawning after a few minutes or hours

How to reproduce
Step 1 Go and build a water tank or anything just fill it up with water
Step 2 Spawn Axolotls in the water
Step 3 wait for a few minutes or hours

Are they nametagged? If not that's why, axolotls aren't like cows or chickens since they will actually despawn once you get too far away from them unless they're nametagged. It's an intentional feature to not make finding axolotls extremely difficult

According to the wiki any axolotl that has been scooped up in a bucket and then placed into the world, will not despawn. They do not require to be named with a name tag.  

@Anthony Cicienlli what do I have to point the thing at?

I was unable to reproduce this. The axolotls never despawnned

I also cannot reproduce this issue in 1.18.2. Please could you provide the launcher logs at the time when this issue occurred? This should provide information as to how the axolotls seemingly despawned. Thanks!
