All my villagers were spawned from breeding other villagers. None were previously zombie villagers.
The first two villagers that started my player built villages were transported via minecart or boat from other villages that were a great distance away (hundreds of blocks).
also these villages have been in my game for years. They previously have had no problems with beds or workstations.
So I completely wiped out all the villagers and beds to remove the village. And started a new one with new villagers. That seems to reset the spots where the old beds became unusable. However I’m not sure if the new villagers will run into the Same issue over time. The village in question was also more of a city. There was probably close to 40 villagers in it. Not sure if the size of the village also plays a part in this issue.
it seems that wiping the village doesn’t necessarily fix the broken locations where bed/workstations stoped working. I initially thought it did however doesn’t seem to be the case. They are still broken. I needed to rearrange where beds and workstations are located to get them working. Even after a complete village wipe where I destroyed all the beds and workstations and started with new villagers.
Also happening in latest version of bedrock on IOS. When the chunk loads the tridents fall straight down a couple blocks into the ground. So every time the chunk loads the tridents get a little deeper. The player can dig into the ground at the spot the trident was left and retrieve it. The depth required depends how many times the chunk was reloaded. Definitely making trident killers problematic. I need to retrieve the tridents and stick them in a chest before I leave and get far enough away that the chunk unloads.
I think you’re saying you want a house boat? I think the row boats are a little small to live in. 🤣 You can always build a house boat that doesn’t go anywhere but looks like a house boat.
This is also happening in bedrock edition, latest update, on IOS.
I’m on Minecraft bedrock vanilla with no mods at all and this has been an issue for at least a year now. Horse breeding offspring have incorrectly displayed Heath.
This is still broken after the last update 1.19.71. You guys chose to fix names and not showing through walls and ray tracing over this almost game breaking bug??? Bugs need to be prioritized better. UI issues should always come first.
This was a terrible UI change.
The new item information bubble is persistent and covers the inventory. Makes selecting other items really difficult. the information needs to be only at the bottom of the screen as pre-update.
The green background in the item box with the white border overpowers the light grey boarder making it almost impossible to tell if the item is selected or unselected. The green background should only show when the item is actively selected.
I know it’s not a fix; but in bedrock always have multiple backups of your important worlds. I keep a run of about 6 world copies at different times as I go, and then delete the oldest one with the newest save. Save corruptions are pretty rare. Only have had it happen once to me, but I didn’t lose much progress due to my copy save game discipline.
Also in your main base/house/castle it’s a good idea to have a nether portal somewhere, and always save the game in the nether, this has saved me a lot of grief in weird things happening to me such as despawning persistent mobs at my castle when saving on the overworld.
Been an issue for a long time and it’s not just lecterns. All villagers will work standing on top of their work stations if there is a two block space above them.
Can confirm. While crouching the crosshair isn’t adjusting to the new position and acts as if the player is still standing. Resulting in selecting blocks above the crosshair location while in a crouching position.
If the player has more than 4 frogs in a confined space (not sure if it’s a chunk) they will randomly despawn until there is only 4 remaining in the area. This is not related to mobs despawning on game loading (I always save in the nether to avoid my mobs despawning).
This bug is recent; not sure if it was introduced in the last update, or the one before last. I’m using bedrock on an IOS device.
also note that the other persistent mobs in the area are not despawning; only the frogs.
This report needs to be reopened. This is a separate issue from mobs disappearing on game loading. This is a frog issue. And it’s recent. Only 4 frogs will remain persistent in a confined space (not sure if it’s a chunk). Frogs over 4 will despawn.
I’m sure this is related to this issue. Parrots also don’t turn to face the player when they are sitting. They previously did, just like dogs cats and other tamed mobs.
You’re not the only one having crashes and lag. Latest update destroyed Minecraft.
According to the wiki any axolotl that has been scooped up in a bucket and then placed into the world, will not despawn. They do not require to be named with a name tag.
I think he’s referring to that when traveling through the nether gate; there is a delay for the dimension to load and the player is able to get attacked by mobs while it loads. Think there is already a report for this issue.
