Cave vines can be left floating after a TNT explosion
What I expected to happen was...:
An explosion should destroy the cave vines too by breaking the lush cave ceilings.
What actually happened was...:
The cave vines haven't been destroyed
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find a lush cave.
2. Sommon a big explosion beside it. Make sure the explosion cannot be loaded very quickly.
3. Try to find the strange cave vines.

Brain180, just because you don't understand the report, doesn't mean it's invalid.
The cave vine is floating without supporting block above (or desynced), that's what's reported here.
Can confirm in 1.19.1; this issue is not environmentally exclusive. Here are some much easier steps to take in order to reproduce this issue. Simply execute the commands provided below and observe how cave vines sometimes float after an explosion. This ticket also relates to MC-188626.
/fill ~ ~11 ~ ~10 ~11 ~10 minecraft:moss_block/fill ~ ~1 ~ ~10 ~10 ~10 minecraft:cave_vines/summon minecraft:creeper ~ ~ ~ {Fuse:0,ExplosionRadius:15}
"Invalid" because i don't understand your issue.
