Darkness pulsing effect doesn't work in The End

The darkness pulsing effect is not visible in The End dimension, only the fog gets reduced. Nether and Overworld are unaffected.

Expected behavior

The darkness pulsing effect would work in the end, like how it works in the nether/overworld.

How to reproduce

1. Go to the end.

2. Apply yourself the darkness effect.

3. See the issue.
