I am having the same  
Failed to download file.
Error details: Java runtime manifest is missing the desired component for this platform.
.  I have tried to execute in a stand along java. in did reinstall of Minecraft launcher. and i reinstalled java. I am running windows 11 home.

winver info ver 21h2(OS Build 22000.675
