I bought Minecraft but now it only lets me play demo...

What I expected to happen was...:
I could play both MC's one day, then the next I couldn't.

What happened was...:
I played a server with a friend the day before the bug happened, I turn on my computer the next day and load up MC (Minecraft) and it says I can only play the demo version, also says I no longer have the windows version of MC which I bought on my Microsoft account too. 

Steps to Reproduce:
There were no exact steps, it was just one moment I could play Java then the next I couldn't.

The same thing has happened to me. Some things I have already tried:

Reinstalling the launcher
Restarting my computer

Playing through the demo

Verifying my purchase on the website

Signing out of the launcher and back into it

Disabling network firewalls to insure the app can fetch data properly

Making sure that the accounts signed into the microsoft store and launcher are the same

Giving it some time (4 hours)

Loading a modded profile

Loading a minecraft directory from a non-standard location

Changing my JE name on the website (it says that my name is player in the launcher)

Changing my JE cape

Clicking "redeem code" on the web page

 

None of these things worked for me. Hope this saves some time in getting to the bottom of this 🙂

Actually, it won't. Go to https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us for help with this, this is a bug tracker that tracks bugs in Minecraft itself, not the launcher.

We do not have enough information to find the cause of this issue.

How do I attach my launcher log? It says the file is not supported. Also, I am operating on Windows 10 and my java version is 1.18.2

You should be able to drag the .txt file onto this bug report and it'll upload. If not you can use a pasting website such as paste.ee and send it that way, and then I can see if I can upload it for you so it's a bit neater
