I tried to play Minecraft java but every time I try to play I get asked to choose a username but then it wont let me it says failed to create profile then I thought it might be that I either didn't own it or it wasn't free with the game pass but when I try to purchase it it just says download as if i already own it i i dont know if i do from ages ago if i dont i dont mind buying it i just want to play it

if i try to purchase while logged out it askes me to log in then takes me to a different page where it asks for a username but wont let me pick 1 again so im pretty sure i own java but just cant use it
