Could you answer few questions regarding this issue, it will help with the investigation: 
 

  • Does this issue still occurs to you on newest version of Launcher? 

  • Have you tried to install Launcher from the minecraft.net website? 

  • Are you logged in in both Xbox app, MS store, and Launcher with the same MS account? 

  • Is your Windows and associated apps (Xbox app, MS store) up-to-date? 

  • Have you tried to re-registering MS store as written here ? 

  • Do you use VPN or any of the incompatible software on machine you try to log-in?  

  • Could you provide us with more in-depth repro steps?

The issue is happening in this version 
I am logged in other MS acount to use the gamepass from a family member
Yes all windows apps are up to date
I don't use VPN
There was a bug in Gamepass with minecraft java (MCL-19984), with the new version it was fixed but now i have this problem

Could you try to reinstall the Launcher? After deleting it, find .minecraft and delete the file - what is important that this file should be deleted from the trash bin, because corrupted files from the old .minecraft file may interract with the newly generated .minecraft file.

i have tried to reinstall the launcher, there is the old launcher log(before reinstaling

) and the new launcher log (after reinstaling

This error only hapens when i use a different Ms acount in  the store that has gamepass and other account logged in with the xbox and minecraft launcher that doesn't have gamepass. Both accounts are vinculated by microsoft family members
By using the same Microsoft acount and minecraft acount the error does not happens (the account that owns the Game Pass)

The new Launcher is designed to operate and connect all services from Xbox App and MS store. Therefore, if you are signed-in with different accounts to these apps, the Launcher will bug itself as it is not recommended behavior.

Both of my numbers were purchased with a redemption code, it seems that there is no purchase record

I'm not sure what images you were trying to attach - but you can upload items to imgur and provide links here, probably. Or just attach images to the bug.

However, if you are playing Bedrock via a Family or Device sharing structure, you will not be able to access Java, unfortunately. That is not supported with the new Java/Bedrock bundle release.

If you're still experiencing this issue then please check if you're signed into the Microsoft store and the Xbox app with the same Microsoft account. If the issue still persists after doing this, please get a full launcher log found in [minecraft/launcher_log.txt|https://minecrafthopper.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder/] and attach it to the report.

Just got this issue TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME after years of playing - currently on LINUX, on Windows 7 before that.

I am on LINUX - there is no "XBox App" for LINUX as far as I know, and I've NEVER had to use it even when I WAS on Windows.

As far as I know there IS NO "Microsoft Store" for LINUX, and I've never had access to it as I've never played Minecraft on a Windows version that DOES support any sort of MicroSoft Store.

BOTH OF THOSE ARE SPECIFIC TO WINDOWS 10 as of the last time I checked.

 

I don't HAVE a launcher.log.txt to attach, it does not exist in the Minecraft directory I can find and I have no idea where else to look.
