I known about MCL-20496 and that not resolved issue.
I've been trying profile settings for 2 months, but it's useless. We fixed the issue with the same problem and all the unsubscriptions in them are lies (we fixed it, it's not our problem blah blah blah). During these two months, the launcher has already been updated three or four times, but the problem has remained as it was. During this time, I deleted the launcher and all the auxiliary files several times (in the case of mac, these are /Users/balashov/Library/Application support/minecraft path). And this is with and without VPN, on different operating systems (mac, windows 10 and 8, ubuntu) and the result is the same - It was not possible to create a profile.
I spent the money (and I must also say that they took it from me for like three games). I also wrote to the support email, but they didn't answer anything intelligible to me there either. That is, I bought a product, but I can't use it and it's not my fault, but the fault of those responsible for the development. My God, you have been for two months (maybe more)b you can't fix the error with Access-Control-Allow-Origin in the browser.

Same issue here.I play with XGP and asked mojang help for help they send me to Xbox team for help,the Xbox team told me to find Mojang for help.
Spent my 2 weeks and not even admit there is a problem in MC launcher even users keep facing this issue,
Other XGP Game work well only MC java not working.
So obviously is MC launcher have problem,
