I have Minecraft Java edition and i click the button to get Minecraft Bedrock edition for free because the two versions are now both in one. But when i click the button redeem in microsoft store it says buy not get and i can't get the second game.

I have the same problem too and I have tried the same process with everything signed in with the account which has the bedrock version but I was still getting the buy option instead of the get option. Here are a few screenshots:

[media]I have tried these suggestions too, and had no luck. My Microsoft store, Minecraft Launcher and XBOX app are all on the same account and its still asking me to buy it, not even showing a "get" button.
To get this to the right team, I need a feedback hub ticket logged, to help gathered additional system logs.
Type "feedback hub" in the search bar at the bottom left of your PC desktop
Open the feedback hub app
Title your feedback item something like "Minecraft Launcher: Can't access game I own" and submit
So an Update,
Now it says that I can play but it asks to enter a username and when I enter an username is says that it failed to create profile. I think this is because in minecraft.net or Microsoft it still says that I don't have Minecraft and so the launcher thinks I have Minecraft java but the minecraft.net thinks I don't and so it can't verify my profile.

Please, attach launcher_log.txt file as well as the screenshots of the issue.
Please, log-in to the Microsoft Store with the same account as you are logged-in to the Launcher and then claim missing game - you can do that from the Launcher level.
