Game is promoting racist ideology with splash texts

Game is telling players to be "anti-racist" which is a reference to the highly racist ideology of Ibram X. Kendi.  His works are as offensive as Mein Kampf.

Besides being plain offensive, there is no reason to promote such things in a game, particularly with a large audience of children.

Did you really just mark this as a duplicate of a ticket marked resolved without explanation?

Why not just reply "too bad".

You obviously haven't been using Jira for long. If it's marked as a duplicate, the bug has already been reported.

I've been using Jira for more than 15 years, and been a Jira administrator at multiple companies, but that's besides the point.

The goal of a Jira ticket is to come to a resolution, not just to capture information.  You could use any database or even a notepad for that.

By creating a duplicate, you add a link to a chain.

If that chain goes nowhere, then you've effectively dumped the customer.

The report DID come to a resolution, you just refuse to accept it.
Mojang is free to use the software how they desire, and that way has been explained to the mods and helpers too.

Stop reporting this, as this is not a bug. It's Mojang's game and site, and they are allowed to do what they want with it.

I am quite taken aback by your incredibly rude demeanor, particularly in the face of a customer.

Mojang must be quite a company that it tolerates such behavior.

There's a difference between being rude and being direct, I simply told you how it is, no sugarcoating.

Mike, if you don't want to see the offending messages, you can use a texture pack with an edited splash text file that overrides the vanilla one. You can make it yourself fairly easily too

Hi Mike, 🙂

For splash text concerns and suggestions, feel free to go to the Official Feedback Website.

Thanks @MacchuPicchu !

Haven't got into texture packs yet, but great to have a possible resolution.

Thanks @Johnibur !

Good to have an alternative method to give feedback.
