Political Propaganda in Splash Messages

Hello @unknown, I can get your point, but it would take too long and this is not the right platform to discuss this, without getting one's words misunderstood.

Since years, I add a custom splash via my resource packs I offer, with mostly uplifting words and some more.

I don't know you, but from the way you worded it, you seem to show general concern about a potential propagandistic misusage of a game that is being played by many children, so I currently assume that switching to a different splash file for you individually is not what you want, but make people aware of what you think is wrong and right.

However, for your niece, this would be a workaround?

For those who may stumble upon this bugpost, I'd like to state that neither the developer's nor the mod's post refer to my own post, which also falsely shows an "edited" note, as my post was privatelisted first, then reinstated. The posts seem out of context, as other posts before and after mine were privated, which can't be seen by the public eye anymore, but my own as well as the other remaining posts refer to those now privated posts.

i really hate to start drama but this is genuinely such a stupid idea just for the fact that its implying lgbt people + POC as a topic are controversial. i thought the era of suppressing minorities was over, but this just proves that people still have the audacity to try to silence voices that couldn’t speak for the longest time.
