Minecraft Is Not The Place For Identity Politics

Placing a bunch of needless, gender biased, identity politics in the title splashes is needless, incendiary, and simply out of place in a children's game. I take no issue with the representation of gender and identity politics, if it's addressed at the appropriate times, and on the appropriate forums. Turning a kid's game into a means of forcing the worldviews of your developers onto its players is both tone deaf, and completely absurdist.

I don't think it's necessary that I open my copy of an E for everyone game about building with blocks, that goes out of its way to avoid giving genders to its NPCs, to be greeted by leftist dribble. I am speaking for a group of twelve here that I can confirm share this view. KEEP YOUR IDENTITY POLITICS TO YOURSELF!!!!!!

If you are talking about the splashes of 1.19.3, then please delete this issue.

First, this is a place for bug reports. You should go to this https://aka.ms/javafeedback?ref=game to report the inappropriate splashes.

Second, this is a commercial game, they checked if it is eligible for younger players.

I understand that "turning a kid's game into a means of forcing the worldviews of your developers onto its players" is not a good thing.

But please make sure that it is true. I did not find any of these politics splashes or inappropriate splashes for all ages.

I played minecraft for two years, made texture packs, looked at the splashes of the original, none were inappropriate.

This is a a bug report website, not protesting website.

Please mind your speaking and words.

Duplicate of MC-199804 (which was about the anti-racism splashes). Everything BN64 said is correct.

This is a bug tracker. For feedback about the game of any kind, please go to https://feedback.minecraft.net
