Sometimes an Amethyst Geode can cut through the centers of Ancient Cites, breaking the redstone labs redstone circuitry, and even the mechanism to enter. Screenshot below.

NOTE: This world was created back in 1.18.2, but the chunk I experienced the bug in was loaded in 1.19. I am not sure if that means anything but for safety create the world in 1.18.2, and then visit the chunk in 1.19.
