The bug

In 1.19, bees freeze and fall whenever they are near certain blocks. They will stay frozen until pushed or if there is not a flower nearby.

How to reproduce

  1. Open

  2. Spawn a bee on a lapis block
    ✔ The bee moves

  3. Open the same world in 1.19
    → ❌ The bee freezes and stays frozen until pushed

Confirmed to affect 1.19.2. I spend a significant portion of bee-farming time on pushing bees away from their own hives, usually discovering that there were 2 or 3 bees stuck in the exact same spot. If you leave them long enough, it seems all of their animation halts except the slight bobbing effect (but the model doesn't tilt in time with the bobbing).

Can confirm. They also see a hive as a pathfindable block even though that only is when they want to get inside.
