[MC-253130] Unable to get slimes to spawn

I am unable to get slimes to spawn in a slime chunks.

During my testing, I was unable to get slimes to spawn in swamp biomes too, even though the light level was under 7 (in the vanilla Minecraft server they would not spawn, but in singleplayer they did).

Clients tried: Feather Client (Fabric) 1.19 and Minecraft 1.19.

Server software tried: Pufferfish 1.19, Paper 1.19, and Minecraft Server 1.19. (No plugins)

Increased tick speed and tried in many chunks for countless hours but still refuses to spawn for some reason.

It could either be a bug with the game, with ChunkBase, or it's intentional, I'm just unlucky.

Thank you for your report!
However, this issue is Invalid.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.

Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.

Cannot confirm. Light up everything within 128 blocks. Check the swamp spawn rules. Login alone/few to reduce spawn competition.

Alright, you can close this. I am almost certain it is a bug with Paper since I can see that they have recently made a change to slime chunk spawn checking. I guess I was just unlucky the time I tried on vanilla Minecraft. Thank you!
