Messed around with command blocks on multiplayer servers, ended up making a horse that was very fast. Noticed that the way controls work aren't just difficult, but completely broken, to the point where just holding the W key does nothing at certain speed values, which were nowhere near the maximum, or the minimum. A horse with speed value 50 does not move at all, yet a horse with 1024, which is the maximum, completely shoots out of rendered chunks, and does not go nearly as far as it is supposed to. Might of just been server lag, since this was on a Hypixel SMP, but the issue was certainly interesting.

I beleive you may have misspelled the error? The link is directed to a bug with potion effects and enchantments. This is something entirely different.
Edit: To clear things up, I did not try just giving a horse a speed effect of 1000. I simply summoned a horse with a jacked speed value, which caused visual bugs and control errors.

@unknown Sorry about that, I misread the issue and assumed that you were giving the Speed status effect to the horse.
Hi there! You mentioned that this issue occurred on Hypixel SMP and hypixel servers are heavily modified. Can you verify that the problem occurs under completely vanilla circumstances as the bug tracker doesn't take in issues under non-vanilla environments? A video recording demonstrating the bug here while the F3 debug screen is enabled would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
