The "gui.abuseReport.reason.self_harm_or_suicide.description" string is slightly too wordy and repetitive, and doesn't concisely state its information

The Bug:

The "gui.abuseReport.reason.self_harm_or_suicide.description" string is slightly too wordy and repetitive, and doesn't concisely state its information.

Upon reading this string for the first time, I was quite confused as it was notably wordy and hard to read, due to it being moderately repetitive. I had to go over the string and read it multiple times in order to understand it, unlike the descriptions of other report categories. The reason for this is because the phrase "harm(ing) themselves in real life" is redundantly used twice instead of only a singular time, therefore making the string slightly hard to understand. One would expect the information to be brief but comprehensive and easily legible for the player, however, I don't feel this is the case for this string.

Below, I've constructed a table that states all of the necessary and relevant information regarding this issue.

Affected String:

Before reading the table, please note the following:

  • Words colored in GREEN are correct/expected.

  • Words colored in RED are incorrect.

Just for clarification reasons, I am aware that both the phrases "talking about" and "threatening to" require two different forms of a verb, so yes, it would make sense that the phrase "harm(ing) themselves in real life" is used twice here, however, as I've suggested in this report, this string can be made more concise whilst still making sense. I personally feel as if the repetition within this string is unnecessary, hence my reasoning for the creation of this ticket. Regardless, I just wish to shed some light on this "issue" and am happy with any outcome whether this gets resolved as WAI, or is considered to be a valid problem.

This isn't a bug, moreso feedback.

No worries; that's absolutely fine. I just wanted to be sure. Thank you!
