Using Json files that shouldn't be read by the game in blockstates will cause the texturepack to fail while loading

How to replicate
1. Create a temporary JSON (with no java code inside/normal text) file in blockstates and name it randomly (Ie not after an already existing block)
2. load the texture pack and it will fail to load

Did not occur in 1.19.2

I can't seem to reproduce this, even in 22w42a – the blockstate file is ignored and the pack loads correctly. What's the error message in your log when your pack fails to load? Can you attach an example of an affected resource pack?
