Tinted glass is not considered a 'Functional Block'

Tinted glass is considered a building block in the creative menu. While this is true, the changes allow blocks to be in multiple categories. With that said tinted glass should also be in functional blocks as people use it with farms. The function would be filtering light.

There's also an argument to be made that it should be included in the Redstone tab but that is far more iffy.

I do not think that tinted glass is functional

it only provides shade and transparency

Just because people use it for farms, doesn't mean it's a functional block...
If I build a farm with stone blocks, doesn't make stone a functional block either.

It also has no redstone behavior unique to it, so it does not belong in there either.

I would recommend submitting a feedback post (https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us) or mentioning it on Twitter, since this seems more like a feature request than a bug to me.

What do you mean? Tinted glass is different from every other type of glass because it doesn't let any light through. That is its function.

That's a property, that doesn't make it a functional/funcionality-bound block.
