After I updated to MacOS Ventura, V-Sync in Minecraft no longer worked correctly. I use an Apple M2 MacBook Air, and the display refresh rate is 60 Hz. But when I turn V-Sync on, the FPS is capped at 120 FPS even though my display is 60 Hz. This happened with MacOS Monterey, but it was eventually fixed; not sure if it was from Apple or Mojang, making the game optimized for MacOS Monterey. Like Monterey, Ventura also changes the GPU regulation in games because of the new Metal 3, but Open GL games has this V-Sync problem. Here are two photos of what I mean, I turn on V-Sync and I then also set it to 120 FPS so it is capped to 60 FPS without as much lag as you would have if you set it to 60 FPS, but the FPS does not cap at 60 FPS to match with my 60 Hz display on my Apple M2 MacBook Air. Please fix this bug in the next Minecraft update.
