each time I open the launcher and go to skins my skin is reverted to the default (Steve) and when I change it back to open Minecraft it shows as Steve again
I know for certain that it isn't my WIFI as i am watching YouTube while I wait for Minecraft to launch
PS: I put 1.19.2 because that's the only option (other than 1.19.3 pre release) and I'm playing on 1.12.2

However, this issue is Invalid.
Your Minecraft version is outdated. We currently take issues for version 1.19.2 and the latest snapshot.
Please update to the latest version as it includes the newest fixes. If you still have this problem after updating, then please create a new issue.
In case of a game crash, please also attach the crash report found in [minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|https://minecrafthopper.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder/].
