1.19 added a nice feature called "chat preview" but it is gone in 1.19.3 for no good reason.

However, this issue is Working as Intended.
The chat preview feature was removed in 22w42a, and this was fully intentional per what was mentioned within the 22w42a changelog.

Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
