MC-26678 fixed the infamous damage tilt bug, however there seems to not be an option to enable the old damage tilt that has been in the game for over a decade. I find that the "new" damage tilt looks very weird for combat when taking damage from the front or back, and I think that a toggle for the, although broken, old damage tilt that was in the game previously would be very helpful for accessibility.
This can be extremely beneficial for people prone to motion sickness, as combined with the new Damage Tilt slider, can give players even more accessibility options. The Damage Tilt slider is already a great step in the right direction, however I really hope that a toggle for the old, "still" damage tilt is added.

It absolutely is, you're asking for the addition of a new setting, and claim it is for accessibility (when it is not, accessibility issues are about things that can cause motion sickness not being togglable, or things that may result in epeleptic attacks; not "It was better before"). The accessibility issue with the feature has been adressed via the new slider controlling severity of the screen shake.
For the cursor position not being accurate during front or back tilt, go to MC-259414.
Furthermore, don't intentionally create duplicates, you're only causing clutter that way, and may only lead to deactivation of your mojira account, as it is disruptive.
Feature request, not a bug.
