Minecraft does not delete garbage files generated during runtime

Minecraft automatically downloads player skin files during multiplayer games and saves them in the minecraft assets skins folder. However, invalid files that have not been used for a long time will not be automatically deleted. Also, logs generated during minecraft runtime will be saved in the. minecraft logs folder, and their contents will never be deleted, but most of these files have become invalid. The computer operating system where this problem occurs is Windows and Linux. It is unclear whether other systems also have this problem
