Option on how to fix it:

"Make the egg only spawn particles the first time it is planted".

I think the issue here is that sniffer eggs can be moved by pistons.

it is better to make it give out particles only after landing

 

I've altered this ticket to make it about the fact that sniffer eggs can be pushed/pulled by pistons.
