Hay Bales are incorrectly named (as the recipe uses wheat straw, and not hay)

The bales in Minecraft are made using sheaves of wheat. The stiff, straw like shafts of cereal grains are called "straw", yet the block name uses the word "Hay", which refers to the softer, more flexible blades of grasses. Hay is also much greener than straw, yet the minecraft block is very yellow.

As such, block.minecraft.hay_block should be renamed to "Straw Bale".

(Alternatively the texture could be recoloured, and the recipe replaced with tall grass, but that seems overcomplicated)

This is obviously a minor issue, but it is frustrating to those of us who live in agricultural areas where the distinction is well understood, and it perpetuates a common semantic error.

As much as this bothers me too, this is a change request, not a bug.

My understanding, (and my experience pointing out language inconsistencies and mistakes on the feedback site) is that they are to be posted here as bugs, not there as feature requests.

That's mainly for typos and grammatical mistakes, not complete string meaning changes.

Can confirm. They used to be called Straw Bales but somehow it got changed back to Hay Bale (Canadian English)

They were never called Staw in English (US) which is the only language bugs are accepted for (the rest are all community made).
