Can confirm in 1.21.4, frozen_river.json contains the following

{
        "type": "minecraft:drowned",
        "maxCount": 1,
        "minCount": 1,
        "weight": 1
      }

Compared to river.json which contains

{
        "type": "minecraft:drowned",
        "maxCount": 1,
        "minCount": 1,
        "weight": 100
      }

To fix this, the drowned spawner object can be copied from river.json or simply changed from 1 to 100.

As affects magma cubes. I was in snapshot 25w06a & I had a magma cube get stuck in a tunnel with me and it basically killed me before I could even react even with 2 pieces of protection armor on.

Blocked in 1.21.4 by MC-278552. Back now that MC-278552 is fixed.

This doesn't just affect pickaxes, I just had it affect a hoe in 25w05a. Probably any tool will do it though

Also appears to happen when reloading chunks

Actually, that fog behavior shouldn't occur at all. It used to occur with chunks where chunks would not be visible if you looked directly at them but not when you view them from the edge of your field of view. I cannot find the bug report for that issue though. That has since been fixed though, so it suggests that the fog that occludes beacon beams is for some reason not cylindrical and is instead cubic

With Multishot, at least in vanilla, the projectile is always the same 3 times though, so having it listed thrice is just redundant

Yeah, this is often referred to by players as "elytra hopping". Even whilst holding the sprint key the whole time while elytra hopping, it is much slower and doesn't launch the player as high as it did prior to 24w44a.

@Riflusso That is actually tracked under MC-279688

In 25w04a shields now have a component which determines how long it takes for the shield to start blocking, and the default is 0, however, that doesn't seem to actually work and shields still have the delay.

I had this crash too and my pack did not have water lakes. it had custom lava lakes though

MC-273228 says it's caused by water trying to be frozen with top_layer_freeze is causing the crash but that doesn't account for the cases of lava lakes also crashing, despite the fact that vanilla lava lakes generate just fine without crashing

This issue seems to be MC-272370 but both are triaged so I doubt they will get resolved as duplicates

Still an issue in 1.21.4. Vanilla, singleplayer or SMP, no mods or plugins.

As with MC-274983, I have also noticed this but also affecting melee attacks.

In my experience there seems to be two types of lag caused by Glowing mobs

  1. The lag spike that occurs the first time a glowing mob renders, presumably caused by the shader (or whatever mechanism renders glowing mobs) loading for the first time

  2. Constant lag any time glowing mobs are on the screen

oops I already had this written in the report and I forgot my bad

I think this is caused by MC-236613. If not it is very closely related

Changelog for 24w44a:

We made it so any block that drops when its support is broken will also drop when mined with any tool. It seemed unfair that breaking a block directly could destroy it if it was possible to obtain it with any tool just by breaking the block below!

Thus this is now intended.

How exactly do you find which feature (or even which chunk) is crashing you? Since it's a server crash there is no crash report anywhere for me

Yeah i haven't diagnosed the exact issue yet but I am having it too and it is affecting things that are either vanilla lava pools or are something else entirely.
