When standing on a trapdoor the block above turtle eggs, it still breaks them

I was on top of a trapdoor that is above turtle eggs (it is on the lower part of the block) and the turtle egg still broke.

Edit: it also breaks any turtle eggs you crouch over, like crouching on the edge of a trapdoor, if there are turtle eggs on the block you crouch over, they will break
