ALL VERSIONS SINCE REPEATING COMMAND BLCKS WERE INTRODUCED HAVE THIS ISSUE!!!
Repeating command blocks are extremely broken.
once enough of them are in the world, any of them that are not in spawn chunks will start failing at random.
the commands are good, there’s nothing wrong with any of my code. I know this, because as soon as I re-power the command block it works fine!
This is extremely annoying because every time I fix one command block 8 more die, and I end up playing an endless game of wackamole trying to fix them all.
this is not a new issue, and still is a bug in 1.20 pre-4
This post is claimed to be resolved, IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is a massive game breaking issue!
other map makers have ran into this issue and it’s breaking our maps really badly.
no method exists that can prevent these command blocks from dying. THIS IS ON YOU TO FIX IT! No matter what I do, there will always be more dead command blocks. This is an issue with how the game itself optimizes repeating command blocks. This needs to be dealt with ASAP!
