When dropping an item and switching to another slot at the same time the item you first held gets dropped on the ground but the item in the slot you switched to dissapeares from your inventory.
When then picking up the item you first have 2 of the first item in your hotbar but when opening your inventory one dissapeares and when clicking on the spot the item in the second slot was in it reappeares.
Steps to reproduce:
launch a survival world in 1.20.1
optain multiple different items
hold an item in your hand
press your dropping key and the number of the slot another item is in simultaneously
