Dropping an item while simultaneously swapping it into your offhand or another hotbar slot creates a ghost item

The Bug:

Desyncs can occur when dropping items and switching them into your offhand or another hobar slot simultaneously.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Obtain a stack of dirt and hold it in your main hand.

2. Press the "Drop Selected Item" key at the same time as the "Swap Item With Offhand" key.
   The item is dropped, but the original item stack remains in your hotbar.

3. Attempt to move or use the original item stack.
   The items that you dropped are depleted from said stack.
